Core Physio Ltd’s Head Office is based in Hamilton Academical Football stadium at New Douglas Park, Hamilton. New Douglas Park is the previous stadium name, it is currently known as the Hope CBD Stadium for sponsorship purposes,[2] is a football stadium in Hamilton which serves as the home of Scottish Premiership side Hamilton Academical. It takes its name from Douglas Park, the club’s former stadium. The stadium was opened at the start of 2001/02 season and is not far from the site of their former Douglas Park ground from which they left in 1994 (the club ground shared in the intervening years). Alas, nothing remains of the old ground to be seen, in fact, the site is now occupied by a Sainsbury’s supermarket. The ground is largely comprised of two fair sized stands at one side and at one end of the ground. Both are covered and all seated. They are unusual, in terms of modern stands, in that they are both raised above pitch level, which means that spectators have to climb a set of stairs, to reach the seated area. These have been supplemented by a small covered temporary stand on the East side of the ground. This area has a capacity of 700 seats. There are also four striking floodlight pylons in each corner of the ground. GETTING THERE Leave the M74 at Junction 5, and follow the signs for Hamilton. You will pass the racecourse on your left and a large fire station on your right. At the first set of traffic lights, turn right onto Caird Street. Continue along Caird Street, you turn right, just before the traffic lights (and bingo hall) into New Park Street. Left after Morrisons will take you down to a small mini roundabout and the stadium in into the left.  Core Physio is based within the main stand.

Core Physio’s latest addition to our portfolio of clinics is right in the heart of Glasgow’s city centre.  Based at West George Street, within Merchants House, our clinic is well situated to cater for the fast-paced Glasgow lifestyle. Our clinic has recently been refurbished to include an update to our clinical pilates services and also the implementation of our injury rehabilitation area. Merchants House is a fantastic location where we hope to raise the standards of physiotherapy care and rehabilitation offerings within Glasgow city centre. The Merchants House Building and its history The Merchants House, the third building of that name, is situated at the corner of George Square and West George Street. The original Merchants Hall was built about 1600 as a meeting place for the merchants and also as a “Hospital” in the older sense of the word; that is as an Almshouse for Merchants and their families who had fallen on hard times. After the Almshouse had attracted several endowments the Hall was rebuilt in the 1650’s to a design by Sir William Bruce of Kinross, architect to Charles Π. It had ground floor lodgings for four old couples, but most of the charity of the House was expended on pensions. As a result of disagreements over a new site, it was not until 1843 that the new hall was opened in Hutcheson Street, between the Glasgow City Chambers and the Glasgow Sheriff Court House for Lanarkshire. It was here that Chopin gave his only piano recital in Glasgow. In 1870 the building was reluctantly sold to the Town Council to allow for an expanding civic administration. For a time meetings were held in the Chamber of Commerce Hall in Virginia Street. Since 1813 the Merchants House had been participating in the scheme to develop George Square. In 1877 the new Merchants House building was complete. The design by John Burnet included offices for the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce. Substantial alterations were made in 1908 by Burnet’s son, also John, when two storeys were added and the building became that seen today. The building itself is fantastic.  During our initial refurbishment, we were privileged to tour the whole building.  Unbelievable facilities for a venue to host gatherings and events.  If you are interested please contact the team and they will cater to your every need.
